PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING! This house is in a great location, but there were several issues that significantly affected our stay. There was visible mold in the downstairs bedroom, and the downstairs floors appeared to have water damage. In certain areas, I could actually see water coming up through the floor as I walked. One of the upstairs bathrooms had a dirty shower curtain, and there was dog hair on one of the comforters. Several of the TVs either had missing or non-working remotes. Even when a remote worked, there were no available channels, and the TVs were not smart TVs, so we couldn't log into our own streaming services. The internet connection was also extremely poor and unreliable. Based on our experience, I recommend booking with caution.
Outside of the few mishaps the service was good and very responsive there could be some updates but the place is livable and comfortable as well.
For the price, it was a reasonable accommodation. The location is great and the place has incredible potential. Unfortunately there are some issues that should be addressed to match the brightness and cleanliness of the photos and listing. Overall it wasn’t clean, and we had clean it ourselves to feel comfortable. Additionally there is very noticeable water damage in several places that looks like it could be mold. The basement bedroom and bathroom both have large wet spots, and when it rained, water was pouring in the front door although it was closed and locked up. The host is very responsive but I get the sense I’m talking to a bot - I asked about the coffee maker several times so we would know what groceries to buy (capsules or grounds) and the response was repeatedly “we’ll give you two filtered packs” - fine, but was kind of appliance is it?!?! Couch inside and rooftop furniture is in rough shape, dirty and broken, not comfortable to use.
