Do. No. Rent. Was filthy when we arrived. Had to wait until 8:51PM to check in rather than 3:00PM. And still was not clean. They simply flipped the dirty sheets, yes I said flipped. And took out trash. Same wrinkles and smells. Had to wash bedding before we could sleep. Bathrooms still had hair in floors and showers. I spent 2 1/2 hours cleaning once we got back to check in. HORRIBLE!! There were roaches. We had to check bags before we left and then emptied again on our porch when we got home and shook out again to avoid bringing roaches home. Supplied AirBNB with pics and videos upon arrival but they still couldn’t help us get another place without roaches. Worst experience yet traveling. Will not use AirBNB again. We will go back to VRBO. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
The home looks great in photos, but our stay was impacted by a serious roach problem present on arrival. We found roaches/insects in multiple areas, including the kitchen counter, refrigerator, pantry, and main floor bedroom/closet. A roach trap under the kitchen island suggested the issue existed before we checked in. I contacted the host immediately with video evidence. While she did respond, the initial solution offered was to drop off roach spray for us to apply ourselves, which didn’t feel appropriate given the extent of the issue. Communication afterward was slow and at times didn’t directly address the situation. We later learned pest control had treated the unit earlier that day, raising concerns about why this wasn’t disclosed before check-in. Airbnb did issue us a full refund, which we appreciated, but based on our experience I recommend confirming pest control/cleanliness before booking. The property photographs well, but it was not guest-ready during our stay.
